"CNA helped me with resources and study materials to become a new citizen. Every day I came here and teachers prepared lessons about U.S. history and questions. These helped me prepare for the interview."
- Canh

The Center for New Americans offers assistance and information to people who want to become U.S. citizens. CNA can explain naturalization procedures, provide help with application forms, and make referrals for legal assistance as needed.
Additionally, Center for New Americans offers free information through workshops and individual appointments. Through workshops and individual consulting, students learn about U.S. history and government required to pass the citizenship exam given by the Department of Homeland Security's Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). USCIS replaced the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) on March 1, 2003.
